    How to monitor CPU Temperature inside windows 7


    How do i monitor my CPU Temperature using windows 7 built-in programs. It's been restarting i guess my PC is overheating.

    I don't think there is a way through W7. You can download hwmonitor free and it gives you all the temps you need. HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID

    The only true monitor is the bios.

    But you can install Core Temp in Windows, hwmonitor has been known not to be accurate.

    I use Speccy from Piriform. It provides a lot of info re: hardware, including CPU temp.

    Hi,
    Yep coretemp for a amd or intel machine or for just a intel machine I use realtemp it uses very little resources to show the temperature on your action center side of the taskbar so you can see it all the time at a glance just like coretemp does too :)

    My favorite is Open hardware monitor. Downloads - Open Hardware Monitor

    It isn't so complete as HWiNFO but it's light, logs Max and min (temp, voltage, fans etc) and you can see the CPU temp at the task bar.
    Mine starts with windows.
