    Win7 won't detect any hardware/devices...

Just loaded win 7 on a new dell e5470. Had a very hard time installing because the new computer does not have a built in cd drive...I finally loaded win 8 then installed win 7 via the win8. Now the problem I have is win 7 does not discover any of the devices/hardware...(wireless, Ethernet, USB etc....)
I of course can't install any drivers because the computer doesn't discover anything

    Help....

Hello and welcome Tfalsetta now it is a pity you didn't post here before because we could have saved you all that installation issues re 8 to 7 etc etc

Now we need your system specs mate before we can even start to help so please update your profile and/or do this System Info - See Your System Specs

Now when we get this we can try to access the drivers you need because what I do is download drivers from the manufacturers site onto a stick then install them to the machine from it.

We might even suggest that you reinstall using a straight forward method. This brings me to the point of how did you get 7 - have you got an activation code for it??

Unzip these drivers and install them.

    6300u is a skylake CPU.
Win 7 doesn't have the USB3 and the SATA drivers for it.
You have to load the drivers to the Win 7 installation disk. Read my tutorial Create a Windows 7 USB flash installation with new drives for new MB's
I would reinstall it from scratch.

Hmm sorry yep that is right I missed that and as a by the by for the record when I bought my Asus ROG I had to download an update for the BIOS first to get the 7 drivers - any mention of that sort of a set up??
