Using TRIM for SSD without IRST?
I'm about to do a fresh windows install on a big SSD, and in order to ensure it's safe operation it's been recommended to me that i use TRIM. According to intel, using TRIM requires IRST:
TRIM Overview
There's two problems with this. Firstly, according to this page, my motherboard doesn't support it:
LGA 1155 - Wikipedia
Secondly, neither does my RAM (note the 1.5V DDR3 incompatiblity):

It's pretty clear, i think, that i can't use IRST. But will TRIM still work under these circumstances? I know how to check if it's enabled, but it also needs to be arranged on the driver side of things, and that seems to require IRST.
