new ssd slower than i had hoped ?

    runs ok smooth responsive boots ok no significant increase or decrease in what i was seeing from a 5400 mech drive tho so no improvement for having the ssd unless i can somehow change the port?

    it has an eSATA port? could that be 0

    Yes, Billy, eSATA can be the SATA port 0.
    As I seen how difficult it is to remove the SSD, I won't suggest you to try.

    I think ill probably change back to a HDD as im not seeing the speed advantages in that pc

    Update#

    i switched the ssd back in and was getting the 150 speeds but i have since purchased a cable that works if a little bit retro fit not (bodged) not pretty but working on eSATA port (port 0) getting the 3.0gps speeds now i believe.

    solved i know but worth the update for other acer aspire revo r3600 users wanting to make use of the esata port
