My SSD external won't show up in Window Explorer

    can anyone help me, please?
When I connect this SSD with my Sata cable, it shows up as a working disk in Disk Management.

But when I put this SSD in an enclosure, this happens. Do you think the enclosure is defective?

It would have been better if you had given complete details of your SSD as well as the enclosure. It is quite possible that the enclosure is unable to handle large capacity drives. Sometimes people even equate a dock to an enclosure. Both may have capacity limitations.

You are advised to check your enclosure /dock's maximum capacity handling from the specifications on the manufacturer's website.
