    Expanding Windows files (100%)

Hey, so the past few times I installed Windows I got this once or twice until I installed w7 ultimate, but this time I've tried professional, home premium and ultimate and none will work I'm doing it by usb..
If anyone could help I would really appreciate it, also in using mob drivers in dvd rom while installing (otherwise it won't let me) incase anyone wanted to know I have removed all other usb stuff except for keyboard, mouse and usb... After it reaches 100% my dvd rom goes loud for a minute then goes quiet, loud quiet loud..

Happens to me also, the CD\DVD loud, soft, loud, soft -- I think the noise is coming from reading heads zipping all over the optical disk reading here, reading there, etc. That's my guess; others can weigh in with better ideas. :)

I don't think it has anything to do with it though.

Is it possible this could be the Asus dvd driver? I knocked my dvd rom a little yesterday and it has a few slight scratches, where could I buy another?

Did the dvd device or did a DVD take a slight hit? Where are the scratches? I guess I misunderstood your opening post.

There's a few light scratches around the edge of the disc going a few way around it, I'm guessing the dvd rom did it because it also made a pretty loud noise when it
Hit. But I'm curious as to if this could be causing the error I'm getting

If the scratches are on the label side, troubles! However, let's wait for others to weigh in.

A question if anyone knows the answer, what kind of drivers does the Asus h11om disk have? I could possibly put the drivers needed into a dvd to see if it is that
