External HD - Two Partitions Merge

Heya All,

I have an external hard drive, but I have appropriated them into two partitions. Partition (F) has existing data which I do not want it to be deleted or formatted, whilst for Partition (R), it is currently empty, but however, "R:\ is not accessible" when I tried to open its drive in My Computer.

Now I want to merge (R) back to (F) without having my data in (F) to be deleted.

Is it possible to do so?

Thanks! Much appreciated.

EDIT: RESOLVED

Would it be possible to merge these two partitions?
After discovering Speccy, I saw this and now I'm curious. Do I have one hard drive that was shrunk to have two 70 GB partitions or do I have two hard drives? If they are two partitions, can I merge them(formatting XP)?
