Unable to turn on integrated camera

    Greetings!
A long while ago,I turned off my pc integrated webcam.Yesterday,I decided to turn it back on ,but bumped into an issue.Looking it up in device manager,I have found no 'imaging devices'.Frankly,I am not really great with computers,so I asked a friend for advice, with no result as you probably guessed(as have random tutorials I found after googling it).
Does anyone have any idea what I should do to make the camera work again?Thank you in advance!

Did the computer came with win 7 or it came with Vista and then you upgraded?
Is the camera integrated to the monitor?
I have once upgraded (clean install) a Vaio to Win 7 and the most difficult driver to find was the camera driver.
