I'm sorry but I don't see anywhere to remove printers using revo uninstaller. Also this is a problem with different printers and on different computers.

Download Revo Uninstaller free version from here: Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

We haven't established if your various systems worked properly in the past! If they did then it might well be that a Windows update caused the problem. So please try all the suggestions offered to you.

Could you explain that please? Which computer, using which printer? In your initial question, you gave one printer. Switch off and unplug each printer, switch off each computer, then switch on each computer in turn and uninstall any/all printers from each computer, using the link mitchell 65 gave you.

Then plug in a relevant printer to one computer, switch on the printer and wait for windows to replace the printer drivers. Repeat with the next printer/computer combination. Take this one step at a time.

As far as I can see revo uninstaller only allows software removal and not hardware. There are no options to remove the printer.

If you read my post I mentioned before this is happening on several pc with different printers attached and since I've had friends test this on their machines and the same thing happens.

Have you actually downloaded and installed Revo Uninstaller?
In an earlier post I wrote "We haven't established if your various systems worked properly in the past!" Could you reply to this please?

Yes I have installed revo uninstaller but don't see anywhere to remove printers only software.

Yes systems worked ok in past but can't establish when. Not sure if the problem occurred after moving to a pc running windows 7. Didn't have the problem with XP for sure.

Are you sure that there is not an icon showing in the Revo window for the Printer software? I don't understand what you mean by "don't see anywhere to remove printers". You would remove a printer by Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - View devices and printers!
When you have uninstalled the printer follow the advice given in post #23.

The Canon printer has software showing in revo but the Oki and Lexmark don't have software installed only the drivers and yes I know how to remove printers. As this is a driver issue/Windows problem I don't think removing software is going to help.

With the problem you have had for 3 week, removing the software can't hurt.
In my opinion it's worth a try. If it doesn't help you can always install the software again.

I have used revo uninstaller and followed all above instructions but as suspected it has made no difference to my problem.
