    I want my bitlocker partition to avoid detection when being mounted


    My company does not allow me to connect any external drive or removable media to my laptop. I recently encrypted one of my partitions with bitlocker to secure data in case it gets stolen. Whenever I open the drive, it gets mounted and detected as a new removable media. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I just want it not get detected as a new drive because the IT department gets intimated every time a new removable device is connected, and they're pretty annoyed.
    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.
