    Two queires

I have got my Ivy Bridge back to life again (Asus P8Z77-V) but I have two things that I don't understand
    a) the BIOS is telling me that the GPU is not recognized by EUFI

    b) I thought that CSM had to be disabled if Secure boot was the Windows OS and in fact I cannot find the boot order anymore in the BIOS. The boot order is displayed on the first BIOS screen but not if I go to the Boot section.

Any suggestions please because I have had problems for over 12 months and have only as I said got the machine up and running again after getting very close to trashing the board and staring afresh.

If its not broken, don't fix it. You know what happens when you start tinkering....

John, there are many BIOS names to turn off secure boot.
On the BIOS that came with the MB, to turn off secure boot it was the CSM=on and then there was some options on sub menus.
With the updated BIOS, now you set OS=other (there is no more CSM option).
Then you have Legacy or UEFI settings. I've set all to UEFI. Only USB drives has an option to also boot to legacy - MBR.
Did you updated your BIOS to last version?

Yep m,ate the BIOS os the latest version and I still have the CMS option - the board is five years old now and the secure boot is just either EUFI or Other OS anyway the machine is running but with minor problems with forum links again but I guess someone might have an idea what is going on.
