Keyboard regestry coruption?

My keyboard will not load. I am using onscreen keyboard to write this message. When checking out my keyboard driver, the following message is displayed:...config info in registry is incomplete or damaged. How do I repair to get my keyboard to work? Thank you.

Have you tried using a System Restore. If the keyboard problem is a very recent one, then using a System Restore point before you lost the keyboard should fix it.

This Forum Tutorial should help you run System Restore.

Keyboard Registry Proplem Fixed

Thank you Ranger 4. System Restore did indeed work by "restoring" a healthy file to the registry. Having done this, I don't see any deleterious effects and hopefully there won't be, or they will be minor. Not having a keyboard is serious. As just a normal computer user, I am not aware of programs like system restore or other corrective programs. Thank you for making me aware and posting guidelines to help me navigate that program. I appreciate the time, effort and caring that's required to get a response from someone. I will try to keep those positive efforts flowing when I can be helpful to someone and I hope the good "karma" returns in some magnificent manner to Ranger 4. Thank you again.

Once using Restore Point successfully you should check all programs for updates.
