Windows 7 HP 64

Connect the camera to the computer.
Open device manager go to Camera missing driver, right click and try to install a driver from WU.
If it doesn t find one, right click - properties - Details tab - Hardware ID's
Copy the ID (it's like USB\VID_03F0&PID_A707&REV_0030&MI_00) and search the web.

Drivers from XP may work.

Linux Mint 18.2 xfce 64-bit (VMWare host) / Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit (VMWare guest)

Expanding on what Megahertz07 said in post #2:

The hardware ID should have a VEN number and a DEV number. For example, it will be something like this:

In this example, the VEN number is 03F0, and the DEV number is A707.

Now go to the following website...

... and do a Device Search (a search on your DEV number). It will return several listings, at least one of which will have a vendor ID which matches your VEN number. Explore these listings (those which have a match on both the VEN and DEV numbers), and you'll find out where you can obtain the drivers for your device.
