    - Open device manager and look for any yellow alert. If you find any, try to update or install the driver.
    - Long USB cables are not recommended as they can not work. The short they are, better they work.

So I opened device manager and noticed two yellow alerts. One next to Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller and the other next to Unknown Device both under the Other Devices tab. I tried updating them both but neither was able to update saying it couldn't find any drivers to update them :/

    You have two missing drivers.
Open device manager, right click on the device (with the alert) - Properties - Details tab - Hardware Ids.
Copy the fist line and paste it over here. Should be like PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A12F&SUBSYS_50071458&REV_31

and the one that says unknown device is
    USB\ASMEDIAROOT_Hub&VID1B21&PID1042&VER0001001600410003

Alright so I installed them and there is not longer any yellow alerts but the usb port still doesn't work. The port seems to work now but is kinda glitchy and sometimes I have to try pulling a cable or usb in diffrent orders or just keep trying to plug it in and hope it work.
