There may be more than one specification for your card build.
You've not given complete enough information to positively categorise it, so it's up to you which set of specifications you trust... surely you, err, have a PDF handbook on the originally supplied CD-ROM that came with it.
The packaging that came with my card does not have any information on it other than how to install. But, on the EVGA website (My products tab) gives me the part number (01G-P3-1156-TR) for my card. I put that into google and saw:
On Specifications Tab on this link says:
EVGA 01G-P3-1156-TR Geforce GTS 250
General
- GPU Geforce GTS 250
- Packaging Retail Interface PCI Express x16 (2.0v)
- Max Resolution 2560 x 1600
So I think I trust the EVGA website more, because the part numbers match.
