Dual monitor setup - adjusting brightness on one monitor

I have a dual-monitor setup on Windows 7. One of the monitors conked out and I have bought a new one. But it is too bright. Is it possible to change the brightness on one monitor but on on the other? If so, how?

On the monitor there are adjustment buttons for almost everything. Read the monitor manual.

There are no adjustment buttons on the monitor. I have read the manual.

Please give us the brand and model of the monitor.
Never seen a monitor without adjustments buttons but it may be by software. Did it came with a cd?

It is an AOC E2270SWDN. It has a CD - the manual and drivers etc. are on the CD. Perhaps I should contact the manufacturer.

Why? Just read the manual on the CD.

To enter the settings menu, press the power button when monitor is on.

Page 21 refers to Windows 8. I have Windows 7. It does not refer to a dual-monitor setup.

    Read it again!!
It's to activate the menu, even with the computer off.
To enter the settings menu, press the power button when monitor is on.

Thanks, I have it now. I have annotated my copy of the manual to make it clear. The power button is physical and is on the underside, not the front, of the monitor. One can use it to make hotkeys appear on the screen, and also to use these to alter brightness etc.
Many thanks for sorting me out on this.
