Toshiba Satellite Laptop BIOS Password Unknown

    Thanks for the replies.

    I know that the laptop was not plugged in, the main battery was removed (also the hard drive and the CD/DVD drive), and no USB connections.

    I think the next step is to jump the BIOS. At this stage, there's not much to lose.

I need to reset the cmos chip, I was wondering if I can remove the ram and hope the settings will reset and so forth. Can I just remove ram and wait 20 minutes or do I have to remove the cmos battery? Computer has no response.
