    Every OEM computer that came with Win 7 has a Certificate Of Authenticity on a sticker on the bottom or under the battery (desktop has it on the case side) .
    On it it has a Win 7 license key in case you need to install Win 7 (same type) using a M$ disk.

    A COA, or “Certificate of Authenticity” is the sticker located on a computer system that has a 25-digit license key for the Windows Operating System, such as Windows XP, Vista and or Windows 7. The COA verifies the validity of the operating system confirming that it is genuine.

    No I'm not going to read 45 post again just to get a simple answer to a simple question.

    Here was the original question.

    Then you ask this.

    Sorry. I need to get a new hard drive because the one I have now is failing. I just don't know what type I need.

    Here are some pics of the one I have now. It also has a cable.
