You have the last BIOS (F1) for the MOBO so it "should" support any of the CPUs listed on this page: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard...14#support-cpu
According to the Specs page https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard...T-D3-rev-14#sp the MOBO supports up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and I'm wondering what RAM you have in it now as well as the PSU specs ?

The Hardware is quite old so before you would even consider investing on any upgrades I suggest carefully inspecting the capacitors on the MOBO (especially those close to the CPU socket) with a magnifying glass. All except the highest level CPUs are inexpensive on places like EBay or https://starmicroinc.net/ With a Core 2 Duo or Quad it could still be a capable enough RIG but don't expect anything above low level gaming.

Depending on what is the use you do with the machine I would prefer buying a second hand computer with i3-i5 Intel processor, but also it depends on where you're located and the costs.
