Idea Pad

I have an Idea Pad that's running Win10 Pro, 4 gigs of Ram and very little storage. I bought for my daughter last year and I got it back because I get her a Chromebook. I am having an issue with trying to reset the machine. It says there was a problem and nothing changed. How can I get this hard drive cleaned without taking it to a tech?

How big is your hard drive? If it's 32 GB, you are always going to have problems with it, because 32 GB simply isn't enough space -- you have absolutely no "elbow room". If it's 64 GB, then it might work, with difficulty.

Personally, if the computer is still under warranty, I would try to get my money back because of the woefully inadequate amount of hard drive space. You can tell them that your computer technician (me) told you that. If you complain enough, maybe they will send you a useable hard drive (that is, one that is actually big enough to use). 120 GB is the minimum I would accept. That size drive will work if you don't store too much on it.

Yes! It has only 32 gigs of storage. I have actually set it aside. Youre right, it is way too small for anything i want to do.

I'm sorry that you got taken on that purchase. It is disgraceful that anyone would sell a computer with that small of a hard drive.

No idea what this is
I didn't know what to say about it but it's been happening for a few weeks now. Randomly and sometimes when explorer restarts. Could someone explain it to me? There are like two extra windows that do nothing and it doesn't just happen with this one program but almost all that are open at the time.

Win 7 idea
Not sure how, or who I can purpose this idea too, but I find that I copy and paste a select amount of words all the time at work. I think it would be nice if I hovered over paste, after I right click, and it gave me a history of previous clipboard items to paste. Anyone else think this is a good...
