A drive can be "low format" as Legacy-MBR or EFI-GPT.
- A Legacy-MBR disk has a partition limitation of 2.2T in size. EFI-GPT disk has a huge partition limitation of 9.4 ZB (9.4 10^21 bytes).
- Win XP isn't compatible with EFI-GPT disk
- Both Win 7 64 and Win 7 32 can access EFI-GPT disk (even if you have a Legacy BIOS).
- On ALL OS, you can only boot a EFI-GPT disk if you have a UEFI BIOS.
- Only Win 64 can Boot a EFI-GPT disk (if you have a UEFI BIOS).

I had and used Outlook express on my Win XP.
I had searched a lot a email Win 7 program that was able to use my Outlook express DBX. None were 100% compatible.
To have all my emails on Win 7, I have installed Office 2003 (With outlook) on Win XP, imported and converted the DBX files to Outllook 2003 and then install the *.pst (outlook data files) on Outlook 2010 on my Win 7.

There is a program called "OE Classic" which is supposed to be a third-party replacement for Outlook Express. I've never used it, but here is some information if you would like to check it out:

From reading their information, if you like Outlook Express, it sounds like you would really like OE Classic.
