    Bluetooth Can't Find Any Devices

Hi, i recently purchased a Sony DS4 controller to play Rocket League on my PC but have been unable to connect it via my motherboards onboard bluetooth (cabled is fine). I then tried to connect my phone & my wife's tab, but neither would show up. Thinking my problem was the onboard BT i then purchased an Asus BT-400 usb dongle. Once it arrived i uninstalled the onboard device, disabled it in the BIOS and started again with the new dongle. Still no Joy

either adapters look good in Device Manager and also the Bluetooth Support Service is started in and set to automatic, and Discovery is ofc on ... what am i missing ?

I have noticed in my Network Connections that my Bluetooth Network Connection is "Not Connected" but it is not disabled

I'm not technically gifted, and i have searched alot and tried most of the basics. could really use some expert help here . Thanks for reading
