    What size of External Hard Drive for a new installation clone?


    Have ordered a new PC with 1TB hard drive and 128GB SS Drive.
    One of my first tasks will be to make a clone
    In 6 year I have not fill more than 300GB of the Hard Drive on my[present venerable Win7 PC.
    Am I right in assuming I only need a 1TB external drive?

    Don't clone create an image which can be compressed so you will be able to keep several images. If you clone it will be out of date every month
