HDD Not Working After Being Shipped

I'm getting a "Please insert a disk into removable disk" message when accessing this external drive, which shows up in win explorer. Using Windows 7 x64.

The drive is definitely spinning up/down, apparently smoothly. The drive has data on it I would like to access. Not sure what could be wrong at this point.

I had titled the volume, but now it shows up as a generic "removable drive" type label in explorer.

It could be the disk USB port or USB interface can you put it in a PC to test?

What you mean by "HDD Not Working After Being Shipped"?
Open disk management and post an image of the whole screen.

Boot into Linux Live and see if the drive is accessible in Linux.
