Screen blanks as Win7 starts up after POST then displays normally

    No rush on this. I've already used the Seagate programs. As mentioned the the response from
    the company was helpful but didn't seem at all interested in warranty friendliness for replacement.

    Well I don't know how to twang on them unless there's some sort of class action.


    How we got here from screen blanking I forget.


    The old monitor 'flatlined' with a single horizontal element lit up after it stayed on a while. Done.


    I was able to get another crt monitor from the local Freecycle group.


    But I'm ready at some point to continue with the Seagate now that I have a usable second

    rig for testing things. So on to using Victoria with or without Laying down a Simple Volume. That was the last question on here.

    I have marked this solved. The blanking screen simply completely failed and taken to

    the County Recycling Center.


    I'm following up on AOMEI since it is recommended by users of Adata SSD which I'd like to get
    in the near future.
