    ADB Interface driver ?

    Hi Friends,
    Greets,

    @larrys2006 : Sir,

    1. Is ADB interface driver is listed/installed properly in device manager when you connect the phone to the pc ? To connect & work with android smoothly on USB connection, that's the basic requirement . I had to make some settings on the phone & then ADB appeared with yellow exclamation mark in the device manager. Then i went to the manufacturer site, downloaded the driver, followed the instructions, installed it and it worked.

    2. There may be/may not be other problems associated with USB connections like the used wire, USB port etc. So, I install & use ''MyPhoneExplorer Client'' from google play & install its windows app on the pc. https://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php
    The application gives three modes to connect phone to the pc i.e. USB, Bluetooth & Wifi. Ours is Wifi. Then my windows firewall asks for a firewall exception, i allow & It starts working. This way i never have to connect my phone with usb & never have to install any drivers. The connection is established on the local wifi without any internet charges. The app is very handy, ad free & bloating free.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    @Adam gilchrist : Sir, The link you referred is blocked by Kaspersky saying phishing url ! (ALERT)

    I can not find "ADB interface driver"

    @larrys2006 : Sir,

    1) Sorry to confuse, it may appear in some other names as well. ( Actually, i attached 2 mobiles to my laptop and both of them listed as ADB device with yellow exclamation mark ) Give an all fresh look to :
    https://www.howtogeek.com/195607/how...er-if-it-isnt/

    2) I suppose the problem is with the driver if not anything else ! And in that case USB drivers for the particular device should be available on the specific manufacturer support site. I also found that many a time device specific/dedicated utilities/ programs include & install the driver.

    3) In the meantime, I would like to do some device specific search.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    EDIT :

    4) When my android started recognized and working, there were 2 or 3 different entries in the device manager for it, i mean those are authentic !

    5) Whether you install an app or driver or try other things , you should start fresh each time i.e. after removing components from earlier steps ( device manager & uninstall/change a program ). For device manager entries, you would need to make out & recognize the changes in the Device manager by plugging/unplugging the device. Finally plug the device and uninstall the entries & choose to delete the driver. I would make a system restore point and use it again & again !

    6) The official driver support page for your android device seems to be down/under maintenance for the moment with no translations ! ((( The link is : http://support.zte.com.cn/support/ne...newsId=1000442
    Authentic android resources : https://www.xda-developers.com/where...d-usb-drivers/ )))

    7) Hurray, Wayback Machine does it again, The driver : https://web.archive.org/web/20171219...newsId=1000442

    8) I will be back tomorrow !

    Are you really sure your phone is in "Transfering Files" mode? It's very common for people to not notice or know anything about these USB modes. I think default mode when connecting phone to a USB is "Charging". Did you changed that? Because you never said anything about the modes.

    ADB interface driver isn't needed to connect the phone to transfer files. You probably shouldn't install this driver, because it will be useless, as you probably never heard of "Developer Options" or "phone USB debugging".

    Hi All,
    Greets,
    Sir(s),

    1. I think one should go multiple times through the link for a better understanding!

    @MSClin : Sir, I agree 50:50 ! But the driver says it is a usb driver. I think it should be installed/updated in refreshed conditions if needed. Besides, 'File transfer' apps like : How to Transfer or Download Photos/Movies Between ZTE Phone and Computer(Windows/Mac) say to enable USB Debugging for smooth detection of devices. I accept those do even much more than just file transfers. But it seems necessary to analise & configure the mobile settings first.

    3. In the meantime, Try out this first in refreshed conditions :

    Hi,
    Sir,
    You should mention 'Device Manager' entries, devices listed in 'My Computer' & settings available on your android. USB options need to be checked/analised for eg. 'On USB tethering' setting will not allow the transfer & detection. Brief the things. ...
