If this means that there is even a slight hope of recovering the data.....I would be grateful!!!!
This is what I told yoongcy421 "Hope or no hope we shall try our best. In data recovery nothing is certain till it becomes certain That still hasn't come yet."

Ok, As suggested by Vineet Garg we shall first try partition recovery. Vineet had suggested EaseUs but the known devil here in Seven Forums as well as Ten Forums is MiniTool Partition Wizard

First post a screenshot of how your drive looks in MiniTool Partition Wizard Free 9.1 [download and install MiniTool Partition Wizard Free version 9.1 from here. (Yes, you heard it right - old version 9.1 and not 10.0, 10.1, 10.2.1 or 10.2.2.)]
MiniTool Partition Wizard Free 10.2.2 Download for Windows / Old Versions / FileHorse.com

Screenshot of the very first screen that appears as soon as you launch the program.

That doesn't look good with PW labelling it as bad disk. We shall anyway go with the next step.

Launch Partition Wizard. On the left Pane click on Partition Recovery Wizard > Next > Select your faulty Drive > Next > Full Disk > Next > QuickScan > Next. Allow the quick scan to complete. At the end of the quickscan you will get a window showing all the found partitions Post a screenshot of it ( only that Window. No need of any background). After you have taken the screenshot click on Cancel button on that Window and close PW. You can run it again if need be.

    Hi Jumanji,

How long would that scan take?
Coz i am about to leave from my office.

Would the result be different if I scan it on my home laptop?
Drive behaves exactly the same on that laptop as well.

If not, then I shall perform the said task tomorrow morning in the office itself.

Quick Scan would generally not take much time. May be a few minutes
You can do it on your home laptop too. Is it running Windows 7?

No need to do anything in a hurry. You can do it at your convenient time.

    Hi,

I ran the quick scan on my home laptop itself ans here is the screenshot.

In case required, I will run it again from office as well.

OK, fine. Put a Tick mark by clicking on the second square which shows the file system as NTFS and starting LBA as 2048 Used size as 1542.31GB.Take a screenshot.

Double click on that ticked partition and check whether you can see all your folders. ( I don't want to see the folders but post the above screenshot.)
