I tried booting to Linux and I am not noticing the problems at all.

Could it be a disabled windows service or something causing the problem?

Like I said, go into task manager and find the process that's eating a lot of CPU cycles. Something is consuming that and RAM.

I can't find anything specific other than "superfetch". I just disabled this.

I am really noticing this the most when RAM usage gets over 4GB. I have 16GB total installed.

Okay, download ProcessHacker here: Overview - Process Hacker

Run it for awhile until the keys mess up again. Save the file and upload here.

If it's not a process that's eating up the keyboard functionality, then I suspect you might have a driver conflict with the keyboard.

Have you installed any hardware or software prior to this happening?

Replacing the keyboard fixed the problem.

Turns out the issue was with the keyboard itself.

I replaced the entire palmrest/keyboard assembly (purchased on ebay) and it resolved the problem.

I ended up damaging the MOBO in the process of the swap so I had to buy a new MOBO as well.
