My removable hard disk is now on local drive G and I cannot open it.

    You should do a hardware test. Most manufactures has specific tools to do it.
    What is the brand of your external disk?

    Seagate. İt's actually a 320gb one so you can rougly guess how old it is and all the files i guess ive lost forever.. I did a force shut through task bar manager when it was taking a long time transferring files. really regret doing that.

    Thank you. Honestly I'm using a work's laptop and we are not able to run exe. files. My home laptop is an old vista and the clock's timing is already screwed up. I'll think of ways to get another chance to download it. Appreciate the help.
