    Thermometers display images not available

The "thermometer" visual image simply not being display. The functions are present. Like for sound or brightness.
This is a recently clean reinstall of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 IE-11 in an Lenovo T61p 15" LCD display.
    Otherwise working correctly.
Is there a Registry function turned Off somewhere?
    Thanks.

Ok, when you want to increase or decrease, lest say brightness, and press on the relevant keys, a small bar will appear with a moving center which relate to the amount. This looks like a thermometer. Same with sound. Such bars are not being display. The functions still works without the visual aid.
    Thanks for the interest.

Witch OS came with the laptop?
Your keyboard needs a specific driver or program to work with all functions.
Did you go to Lenovo site and downloaded all specific drivers for your laptop?

Open Device manager. How many yellow triangles of missing drivers you have?

Is he is talking about the controls on his monitor for brightness, contrast, color balance etc?

SIW2, I guess he's talking about the special Fn keys on the laptop keyboard to control brightness, contrast, volume etc
