What service is the auto search in D&P?

Hi

I just went to devices and printers, and got a yellow bar at the top which said the following:

Windows can display enhanced device icons and info from the internet

Which, it seems, allows for an auto search on the internet for certain things related to your driver. What service is this, please?

Thanks in advance.

This thread doesn't answer your question directly but does tell you how to get rid of it.

Entire up-to-date Speccy details of this DELL...

Can Windows Search "auto search" be turned OFF???
I may be the only one on earth that does not like windows search as it fires off at the first keystroke, wasting time/energy afaik. is there a way to turn it off so that I can get my proper search string entered, then hit the key??
