Based on your system specs, you don't have a Samsung drive. In addition, both of your drives are hard drives, not SSD.

Are you using a brand new drive? I don't know if it's still true but Magician originally didn't work with a OEM drive and may not work with a reburished drive, depending on it's origin.

    You might also go here-

Samsung NVMe SSD 960 EVO | Samsung V-NAND SSD | Samsung Semiconductor Global Website

and download/install the NVME driver, even if you don't have NVME or the 960 evo.

If it's a new drive, you can also address this problem with Samsung.

Yes I'm buying new drive and it's registered on samsung wesbite, I just check it to make sure. When first I buy it, it's says it's genuine(on magician), so it should be.

I tried to uninstall the november update without luck. It's still there doing nothing. I'm really-really curious, I want to debug the app but no error log shown on event viewer, I just look at it's behavior that it only run the waitinghelper.exe with system privilege, and it's sit there forever..

Any other ideas maybe? I hope it's not clean install of the windows 7.. I hate when it comes to that conclusion...

I don't know what "november update" you're referring to.

Where did you buy the drive?

Did you install the NVME driver?

If you go to Control Panel, Device manager, Disk Drives and select the SSD, what happens is you run the Update Driver under Driver?

Ah I just fix it. The november update(manual install -_-) is WMI 5.1 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=54616. I use it for powershell, and I don't realize it broke the samsung magician.. weird... I guesing it because the samsung magician some times not often pop up WMI fail or such, so I came across it. Hmm.. is the Samsung magician rely that much on WMI.. hmm..
