Windows 7: Use Webcam for snapshots

Use Webcam for snapshots

Is there no integrated support in 7 to use a webcam for photographs? The webcam is detected and installed on the system, but unlike XP or Vista where the cam appeared right in 'My Computer' for use, I can't seem to find anything similar with 7. Thoughts? Suggestions?

What on earth's the attraction of ultra low resolution photo images?

Most phone cams take clearer pictures than common web cameras, for myself the absence of the camera in 'My Computer' simply represents less clutter.

Well for me, it's convenience. Plus I do not have a phone cam. And that means less expense?

What's a good program to take registry snapshots?
I'm sick of going into the registry each time I delete a program and having to delete remnants of the program. Therefore, I want to have a program that can take registry snap shots so I can delete the program (completely from my computer) if I don't like it. Any suggestions?
Anyone know if a driver for the Logitech E1000 webcam has been made, I know Logitech hasn't made one, but has any third party made one?
