How do I diagnose failing screen vs graphics card?

    You're most welcome. Hope the new screen works for you. Purchase a new one, not used. Used may have short working life left; you never know.

    If that isn't the problem, and the seller won't accept returned opened electronics components, you could offer it on eBay or Amazon as new opened unused.

    So I'm having trouble locating a reasonably priced screen for this computer. I opened her up today and took a pic of the tag to match with others but no luck. I have always been good with software but hardware is tough for me as a novice. Any help locating a reliably sourced screen would be greatly appreciated.
