    Have you checked if it is something getting loaded at startup [Start => msconfig => Startup tab] that is causing the problem?

    Hi arinbmw,

    [1] Make a note of everything that is checked in Startup [Start => in the search box type msconfig => Enter => Startup tab] and then uncheck them ALL.

    [2] In Services [Start => in the search box type msconfig => Enter => Services tab] check the Hide all Microsoft services box and uncheck everything that is left.

    [3] Click Apply => OK => Restart.

    EDIT: Ignore number [2] for now.

    Hi arinbmw,

    Just a quick observation! Do you really use all of those?

    [1] You have got Norton Online at startup although you have Kaspersky Internet Security. It is NOT good to have two anti-viruses as they conflict with each other. Uncheck it.
    [2] Is iTunes set to download files? Uncheck it.
    [3] Is uTorrent set to download files? Uncheck it.

    In fact, you could uncheck everything except Realtek, Intel and Sony. Then restart to see if that makes a difference.
