I don't see any issues but I've never really used parallel ports and the only computer I have old enough to have any only has 1. I don't even have any devices to use on it. Have you tried a BIOS reset as I suggested? Have you tried what I suggested in post 12?
    What?

    You're "unfamiliar" with parallel ports??

You, ". . . don't even have any devices to use on it."???

    AND YOU'RE GIVING ME ADVICE????

    You're a WASTE OF TIME.

Had you simply been honest from the beginning and told that,
I would NOT HAVE WASTED MY TIME ON YOU.

Go play in your sandbox sonny, and leave adults to do real work.

Just in case you come back on the thread and see this I have some comments:
One, asking for help from people volunteering their time and then fighting them, calling them names, questioning their abilities, or accusing them of trolling is unproductive, can keep people from helping you and can get you banned. It also is bad forum etiquette especially for someone wanting free help. If anything this wasn't wasted time on your part but ultimately it was ours.
Two, I never said that I was unfamiliar with parallel ports and that also doesn't disqualify me from making suggestions. It's not like I'm applying for a job.
Three, not following through with suggestions from others is frustrating to us and doesn't help solve the problem. There is a reason I made my suggestion in post 12. I think that it would have solved your problem but we'll never know.

Something to keep in mind if you go to other forums.
