Windows 7: WL Enterprice Drive never seems to stop doing something?

Windows 7 HP 64

You don't need a big SSD. I have a small (128G) SSD with Windows and Programs in one partition (85G) and Linux in another Partition (38G). You install windows on the SSD and move C:\Users folder to the HDD. You will have the speed of a SSD and the space of a HDD at low cost.
I can guide you as I have done it many times. (desktops and laptops)

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

I ordered the Crucial BX500 120GB and a WD 4TB Gold from Newegg.
I chose the 4TB as there wasn't a 3TB.
I will let you know when they arrive.
Best regards,

Stop dvd drive from automatically opening
This one drives me nuts. When I'm in my file explorer (file manager), and the cursor goes down and highlights the dvd drive, it does an 'eject', and everything freezes because it takes the computer 10 seconds to think about opening the drive. Then I have to close it by hand, and everything...

Hard drive won't stop rattling
Ever since installing Win 7. Often for 5 to 10 minutes. Thought it was Avast (from task manager processes), uninstalled Avast, still the thing won't stop except very ocassionally when I'm doing specific tasks. Is this normal (mem paging, etc)? I'm ready to go back to XP.
