    Drive became "not initialized"

This morning my system would not boot, after doing some diagnostics I discovered that one of my drives (Drive 0) shows up as NOT INITIALIZED. When I shut my PC down last night the drive was working fine.

I left it alone this morning because I have data on this drive that I want to recover. Is it possible to recover the data? What is the best way to do it?

Well looks like I solved my own problem by uninstalling the drive in the Device Manager, and rebooting the system. The drive showed up again as before with all it's data intact.
    GO FIGURE!

I hope you are making weekly or bi-monthly backups onto external media -- regardless of what else is happening.
