With temperatures around 60-65C at 20% CPU usage, you should replace the CPU cooler as temperatures can go above 80C with higher CPU usage.

Thanks for you comments. I posted the temps just after I put the new CPU in. The temps dropped as it heated up and the thermal paste spread. I ran ClamWin overnight and the temps remained below 60C. Blue Iris was (is) running too. Now it's running idle in the mid 40s to low 50s (again, Blue Iris running).

That said, This cpu (Devil's Canyon i7-4790K) is known to run high temps. I'm monitoring the temps with Real Temp. I don't plan on using the machine for other than the IP cams and occasional utility usage (i.e., HD diags, etc). I still may get a cooler. I've had the Hyper 212 EVO in another machine for years now that's worked out well. Those things are monsters, though.

Update:
I just ran MSE and (with Blue Iris running) the temps got up near 80C, with 25-30 distance to TJ Max. It settled back down to the 40s, 50s when MSE finished (Blue Iris still running). I quit Blue Iris, and the temps dropped to 30C, which seems great from what I've been reading (this system is installed to a test bench rather than a case).

I intend to put this system into a case later. That's when I'll install the Hyper 212.
