Keyboard works in BIOS, but not in W7 o/s

The keyboard works in CMOS/BIOS but not in the o/w or safe mode. Not able to enter password to access control panel or any settings. We've used USB and PS2 keyboards. (This is a desktop with no "touch screen" capabilities.)

Any other ideas would be welcomed?

Welcome to the forum. Has it ever worked? Is there a setting in BIOS for USB legacy or similar as that is often needed. Does mouse work ok? It's been a problem for years that it doesn't load new drivers for keyboard until you login

    Keyboards not working-Solved

We left the computer on overnight, and for some unknown reason, this morning the keyboards are working, no matter which connection we use; i.e. PS2 or USB.

Tested a few reboots, keyboard still working.

My thread can be closed. Thank you!
