Coffee Lake/Windows 7

Anyone come up with drivers to allow Windows 7 mouse/keyboard to function on Coffee Lake CPUs - without having to reinstall W7, which is ready to boot from its own drive but for those controls.

Do you want to transfer a Win 7 drive from a computer to a Coffee Lake computer?

What are the specs of the Coffee Lake computer (MoBo, CPU and GPU)?

ASUS z390A/I7-8700. W10 O/S, dual booting between its SSD and a separate W7 SSD. NVidia 1060 GPU.

W7 boots up fine, but mouse and keyboard are not active, as Intel intended for Coffee Lake systems.

Can that be overcome without reinstalling W7?

You need the usb drivers for the z390 mobo. It is not because of the cpu..
Win7 drivers for USB 3.0/3.1 Controllers of new Intel chipset systems

If you have a ps2 port, plug mouse into that to install the drivers.

I know, I know: this is nothing new. Thing is, I'm stuck with this hardware now, so I'm looking for a workable work-around. Oddly the W7 install seemed to go okay: the screen shows the familiar list of options when it rebooted - like 'Start Windows normally',etc. But when I chose that option,...

Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake with Win 7
Not sure what subforum this belongs so I'll ask here. I'm thinking about getting a 7700k which is a Kaby Lake CPU. Is there anything I need to know in order to use that CPU in Win 7 other than the fact updates won't work without a hack? I don't care about updates since I really don't use them.

How do you install Windows 7 on a recent Kaby Lake laptop?
Ok, so personally I run Windows 8.1 on this new ASUS GL553VE laptop (I downgraded it from Windoze 10, and it wasn't easy) that I'm typing on. Well, it's not that I hate Windows 8.1 or am using it as a compromise not to use Windows 7, to be honest I love Windows 8.1, but I just wonder if Windows 7...

Nor coffee either..Windows Search... font
OK so some pages come out too small to read when I'm browsing, but generally they can be enlarged with Control +. Not so entering queries in to Search: the font is too small and being in the bottom corner of the screen too makes it no easier. I've set my display etc to a custom setting but...
