What happens if you open (double-click) the H: drive? Are there driver files in there?

A common practice of many similar devices (bluetooth dongles, usb ethernet dongles, wifi dongles, firewire dongles, et al) is to add a bit of internal memory that mimics a CD or USB memory stick, and then put the dongle driver files on that "storage" part of the device. In essence, think of it as though the manufacturer supplied a driver installation CD, but it's merged with the dongle itself instead of as a separate CD. For the manufacturer, it's more economical than having to toss a physical CD into the box.

Plug in the device and the storage part shows up, but not the dongle part. Run the installation routine from the storage part and it installs the proper drivers for the dongle part. After that, the dongle should be working.

I have this same issue, there isn't any files other than large Audio files on the dongle, any ideas on how to have this device pick up as a bluetooth dongle instead of storage?

Hi having same issue, too hard to find something about this, with search i discovered it may be a BT dongle not for PCs but for cars or audio boxes, you connect your smartphone's bluetooh to it and you can use it like an AUX cable to send the audio being played in your celphone to the car's stereo or the audio box. Maybe there's no way of working on pc, but you can try put your headphone in pairing mode and it can be connected (when the dongle light is flashing it is on pairing mode, when the light gets solid or turned off, it is connected to your headphone) and then maybe clicking on the volume control icon to select "JieLi BR21" as the output device like someone said in a review at amazon 👇
