buffalo hdd not detected by win-7

    buffalo hdd not detected by win-7


    sorry that is not exactly true win-7 does see it but it is unallocated. I have tried to innitialize it but i just get error messages and i have tried to update the drivers but it says that they are up to date so maybe i just need to allocate it but i dont know how. Thankyou for any help

    If there's nothing you want to keep on it, right click it in disk management and format it to NTFS.

    If there is stuff to keep, look online for a partition repair utility.

    Thankyou for the advise but i seem to have sorted the problem out how i dont quite understand but it is working. I just simply turned the power of the hdd off and then back on and it recognized it so there you go lol!!!!
