    Wifi card Intel WM3B2200BG

I was given by my grandfather his favorite laptop, which he bought 15 years ago. There is an Acer Aspire 3816 with Pentium M 735 A specifications, 1 gigabit RAM, 40 gigabit HD and an Intel WM3B2200BG wifi card. I upgraded to Windows 7, apparently I can't connect to the wireless network. Because I'm also using dual boot with Xenialpup 7.5, I tried to connect and it was able to connect directly. The question is why Windows 7 blocks the wifi card? Thank you for your answer. Sorry if the English is messed up because I use Google Translate.

All I can suggest is that you have an issue with drivers - as it is an older device there is no Active support but I did find a support page on the Intel Site

    Support for Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection

Hopefully you will be able to find something to get the hardware working
