windows 7 compatibility with the pentium m?

I have a pentium m I just saved from an old broken d600 laptop a few weeks ago and I was wondering if it would work with windows 7 I plan on installing windows 7 home premium with 4gb of ram and ive heard there are motherboard converters for the cups compatibility anyways my question is will a pentium m run windows 7 or will it be a sluggish laggy nightmare if anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated-legacyfan

There are numerous Intel Pentium M processors which range in speed from 900 MHz to 2.27 GHz.
    Which one do you have?

If this is the processor you have, it appears it supports only the 32-bit version of Windows 7 and will not allow the use more than 4 GB of RAM.

It is a very weak performing single core processor, so it being a "sluggish laggy nightmare" appears to be very possible.
