    hi,

my desktop pc has seagate 2tb hdd on which Win 7 was installed had 4 partitons (c d e f) ... yesterday my brother created new partition dividing (f:) into 2 ... now hdd has (c d e f g) ... he was asked by windows that whole hdd will be converted into dynamic drive & he continued ... resulted in whole hdd dynamic, i cannot boot from it ... but can view it on my laptop using external case ...

can i convert it back to basic drive without loosing my data (500 gb) ???

partition wizard shows full drive without any partitions ... whot should i do ???

    dynamic drive :
    h >> system reserved
    i >> win 7
    j >> data
    k >> data
    f >> empty (no data)
    g >> empty (no data)

so should i delete last 2 partitions & then proceed with dynamic to basic or do as it is ??? as all 4 primary partitions are done & 1tb is unallocated then ...
or whot if i install win 7 on small hdd & keep this dynamic disk as external hdd ??? as fearing loss of data on partition (k drive) (pj_02) ... as i dont have big spare hdd for backup
or can this drive made in gpt & then install Win 10 ??? without lossing data

There are some programs that say they can convert dynamic to basic without data loss. But it is safer to back up important data first.

Back up any important data before attempting anything else.
There are several free data recovery programs you could try.
