Can two external USB drives be configured as Raid-0 in W7?

    Can two external USB drives be configured as Raid-0 in W7?


    Any feedback to this would help me greatly.
    Worst case, W-10.

    It can be done but there can be problems raid is normally for speed increase as well as backup but usb is going to be slow this is key drives but same for drives https://www.techwalla.com/articles/h...as-raid-drives

    Thank you for your response.
    I thought by using Raid-0, I could increase the speed by writing to two drives simultaneously.
    I am going to try it after I obtain the two drives.
    I'll post what I experience.

    It can be faster on normal controller but may be worse on usb with different controllers the big thing is if one disk dies you loose everything

    I'd use USB C drives if your computer has USB C.

    I have one of these and it performs admirably well. Amazingly small, too! I couldn't believe how small it was. Especially since back in circa 2006 I paid a massive $80 for a 1GB SD card on eBay for my small NVR. Back then that was the going price.
