    Help with mirroring drives

I'm running Windows 7 Professional and I'm looking for confirmation that I will be able to mirror two 10TB USB 3.0 external drives that I'm about to purchase. I've been poking around Disk Management and it appears that what I need to do is specify the drives as dynamic disks and create a "new mirrored volume." Is that correct?

I'm concerned because I notice that on an existing 5TB USB drive of mine, it will not allow me to convert from basic to dynamic disk, returning "The operation is not supported by the object." Is dynamic disk (and mirroring) supported on external USB drives?

Welcome too the forum. With external drive of that size its possible but could give problems with power and cpu use it may be better to just clone the disk every week
