    Clone my root drive


    I want to clone my root drive to a new SSD. I have both SSD's plugged into SATA ports, but I have been unable to find a free program to perform the clone. I did this months ago, on another computer, but I probably first downloaded and installed the program on this machine, so if the program had a 30 day trial, that is no longer available.

    Any suggestions?

    I found DriveImage, installed it, and ran it. First of all, it was quite slow. Second, I tried to clone the three partitions on the disk, but it only cloned one of them. Bottom line - does not seem to work in the manner I need. Help!

The root drive (C:\) is shared, nevertheless there is no access to subfolders, How come that the root drive (C:\) is shared but no access is permitted to a particular subfolder (attached)? How to force the sharing for the root and ALL the subfolders Thank you Best
What is aecache.dll doing in the root of my system drive? The details tab says it is from microsoft. But the location is very unusual. My searches have produced a long list of hits but no concrete info. Does anyone truly know what this program is and why it is where it is?
