The DVD is almost certainly OEM because I see the word "bulk" in the description.

I am limited in my understanding due to the language barrier in the descriptions.

OEMs don't have cables at all, at least in USA and I would expect world-wide.

Are you SURE it is SATA rather than IDE?

I'd guess the HD is OEM also, particularly because the picture does not show any retail packaging--which would have cables. I have had the larger brother of that drive (1.5 TB) in my system as a backup drive for 2 months with no issues.

In all likelihood that 500 WD green will have just one platter, which will reduce noise--always a good thing.

Some will tell you to avoid "green" drives as they are not the fastest. True, but not by a large margin. I benchmarked my WD green and it is faster than 7200 RPM drives were say 3 years ago. The WD black series is faster, but you may not notice it.

I well have a look for the cables then :)
And yes i am 100% sure it is SATA on the HDD, but not sure about the dvd I will have a look for another one where it says that it is SATA.

This is the system I built this week only for games:

    CPU: AMD Phenom x2 550 Black Edition @ 3.1GHz

    RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9 Kit (2x2GB)

    HARD DRIVE: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB w/ 32MB cache 7200RPM SATA II

    MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte MA-790GPT-UD3H

GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon 4890 1GB GDDR5 stock

PSU: Xigmatek NRP-MC651 80 Plus Silver Certified Modular

OPTICAL DRIVE: LG GH 22 series SATA

    CHASSIS: Antec Two Hundred

OS: WIndows 7 Ultimate x64 OEM.

The only thing on it is games and hardly any applications. I have a vista desktop to take care of any work.
